_ [book]今年読んでよかった本
今年は今日までに51冊の本を読みました (何点か書評を書いていないものがあります)。年初に今年の読書目標を「週に1冊読書(=年間53冊)」とし、それにはわずか及びませんでした。来年はもう少し読めるようにしたい
さて、今年読んだ本の中から、特によかったものをあげたいと思います

中国の冬—私が生きた文革の日々

この2点は時代も切り口も全く違いますが歴史書です。「歴史のうねり」というものを強く感じた2冊
特に「中国の冬」はとにかく圧倒された。「中国の冬」は文化大革命の悲惨さをこれでもかと伝える本だけど、悲惨な状況の中でも主人公=著者がただ流されるだけでなかったからこそ、これだけ胸に迫るノンフィクションになったのだと思う
「銃・病原菌・鉄」は、自分たちが生きている社会が、実はいくつもの偶然の成り立ちでできていることをわからせてくれた
予想どおりに不合理—行動経済学が明かす「あなたがそれを選ぶわけ」

面白いと同時に非常に考えさせられた本。経済学の観点から人間の本性が生々しくあぶり出される実験を知って、「人間ってどうしようもないけど面白い」と思った
